Monarch Butterflies Dangles

These earrings represent the emblematic Monarch butterfly, which arrived into Australia from North America in the mid 1800-s. But how did the butterflies arrive in Australia? They first arrived in the Pacific islands and later into Australia. The maritime traffic between USA and the islands plus wind storms and cyclones could be responsible.

These stunning Monarch Butterfly dangles earrings were proudly handmade and designed in Australia by Mox & Co. They are made with acrylic and stainless steel findings. The ear studs are stainless steel, so they are great for people with nickel or other base metal allergies/sensitivities.
