The Beetles: Poems in Praise of Beetles

"The Beetles: Poems in Praise of Beetles" was written by the British author Peter Brown and marvelously illustrated by Fran Evans.

Peter, a retired teacher, beetle lover, published this book last year at his 85 years old. It is a compilation of 15 poems, each one talking about a different species of British beetles.

The rhythm and form of each verse, and the beautiful illustrations, take us into a trip to the beetle world, with intricated stories about their life and behavior.
