RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

At Bugs and Beads, we want your experience with us to be a pleasant one - which is why we've made our returns policy as simple as possible. And if for some reason things don't go quite to plan, we have a dedicated customer service team to make everything right again!

Please note: We cannot issue credits or refunds unless you have first spoken to a Bugs and Beads representative at info@bugsandbeads.com, as we need to issue you with a returns number and address before you send us back any items. Without these, we will be unable to process your return and refund the cost of your item(s).

Returns Terms & Conditions

  • We accept returns up to 14 days from you receiving your parcel, providing it is unworn, unwashed, unused, and in original condition with all labels/tags attached (including packaging).
  • Items returned after that period may not qualify for a refund.
  • For health reasons, we do not accept returns on the purchase of earrings unless exhibiting a genuine manufacturing fault. Please make your selections carefully, and double-check your order before submitting.
  • You can return your order for a refund, exchange or store credit.
  • The customer is responsible for the cost of an items return, unless there was an error on our behalf.
  • A Bugs and Beads customer service representative must be contacted before returning goods. We can only offer refunds when we receive the products.


Damaged Or Faulty Items

If you received a damaged shipment or product, please email photos of the damaged item to info@bugsandbeads.com, include your invoice number and name, and we will work with you to resolve the issue. If your product gets damaged after using it, please email photos of the product and tell us what happened with it to info@bugasandbeads.com and we will do our best to resolve your problem.

Tarnish is a thin layer of corrosion on metals, resulting from a reaction to moisture, air or chemical compounds with the metal in your jewellery, with time. This will appear as a dark discolouration to your jewellery. Tarnish can be prevented by storing your jewellery in a dry, airtight container with the anti-tarnish paper tab provided with your sterling silver, gold filled, brass and tin jewellery. Unfortunately, Bugs and Beads cannot provide any refund or replacement of your jewellery due to tarnishing as it depends of the environment where the jewellery is stored or used. Please do not expose your jewellery to water, perfume or high humidity. Do not store your jewellery in your bathroom or close to bleached surfaces. If you notice any changes in the colour of your jewellery, please let us know and we can give you some advice on how to clean your jewellery or arrange professional cleaning free of charge but the shipping costs must be covered by the costumer.

Guarantees

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Not covered in the guarantee: Incidental or consequential damages; damage from accident, abuse, misuse, introduction of foreign objects into the product, tampering with prongs, unauthorised modifications or alterations, or failure to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations; cosmetic damage including scratches, peelings, dents that do not impede the mechanical functionality of the item; third-party actions including fire, collision, vandalism, theft, etc; loss of charms and findings or any other parts of the product unless such loss was caused by a defect in workmanship and/or materials, without any undue stress or damage.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

We aim to dispatch orders within 2-5 business days of receiving cleared payment. Please note that during SALE periods orders may take an extra 1-2 days to dispatch on top of normal dispatch times. Customers will be notified of any dispatch delays.

Domestic Shipping: We offer Standard Shipping for $9.95 (2-6 business days) and Express Shipping (1-4 business days) for $14.95. FREE Standard Shipping for orders over $60 and FREE Express Shipping for orders over $100.

International Shipping: We offer Standard International Shipping for $25.00 (5-21 business days). FREE International Shipping for orders over $150.
